HOW DOES CO2 SKIN RESURFACING WORK?
The Finexel CO2 laser is an ablative laser known for its remarkable ability to eliminate fine lines, improve overall skin texture and reduce problematic pigmentation areas. It is particularly effective in addressing deep wrinkles and acne scarring.
Operating as an ablative laser, it works by removing the thin outer layer of skin (epidermis) while simultaneously heating the underlying skin (dermis).
This process stimulates the production of collagen, a protein that enhances skin firmness and texture. As the epidermis heals and regenerates the treated area appears smoother and tighter. Resulting in a significant improvement in the skin's appearance.

Depending on the indication, the beam size can be adjusted from 80 to 500 micrometers. In the case of a 500-micrometer size, it can be used for peeling or together with a skin booster.
